Fantastic Opportunity for Point Blank Students to DJ at the Grand Prix Gold Badminton Championships

Are you a past or present students at Point Blank? How would you fancy the chance to DJ in front of 6,000 people at the Copper Box in the Olympic Park? Well thanks to our very good friends over at The Sports Presentation Company, we are offering one lucky student just that, by DJing at the Grand Prix Gold Badminton Championships due to take place 5th and 6th October 2013. Check out the event trailer below…

The Gig

The Sports Presentation Company are looking for a DJ to play live for 6,000 people at the forthcoming Grand Prix Gold Badminton Championships at the Olympic Park. The DJ will play live music stings for athlete walk ons, enhance the celebrations and trophy ceremonies, fill the venue with atmosphere in the build up to the big matches and generally keep the buzz going during breaks in play between on-court activity.

The selected DJ will work closely with the Event Producer on music / sample / sting selection and likely spend some time preparing by pre-mixing stings, sourcing tracks and samples, making effects and showing off their other audio skills. Although technical audio support can be provided it would be ideal if the successful DJ would their own mixing equipment, laptop and software (help with this can be provided where or if needed).

The two days required for the performance will be Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2013 with a possible extra evening session on Friday 4th October.
